About Grist

Grist puts a homebrewer's whole brewery in one place. Recipes live in brewing software, competition results sit in a dozen entry portals, and Master Homebrewer Program progress lives in a spreadsheet. Grist brings them together, so a batch connects to the entries it produced, the scoresheets judges wrote about it, and the MHP rank it counts toward. Batches and recipes sync from Brewfather and Brewer's Friend. Grist runs on the web and natively on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Core features are free; Grist Pro adds scoresheet PDF import and an AI assistant called Sight.

Founder

Jordan Stone started brewing extract in the late 2000s, stepped away for several years, and came back in 2022 to go deep on all-grain technique, brewing chemistry, and competitive homebrewing. He's a member of the Rock Hoppers Brew Club. He built Grist so a judge's feedback could shape his next recipe.
